Music mogul visits Grand to sing with Peggy Mann

Acclaimed Nashville producer and songwriter Monty Powell came to Grand Lake June 21 to surprise local musician, Peggy Mann, at two sold-out performances of her newly released Nashville recording "Don't Waste Time." Monty and his singer-songwriter wife, Anna Wilson, who both performed on Mann's record, got up on stage for two songs at the cd release concert. "You have a world-class performer and songwriter in your midst," said Powell about Mann. Powell's comment about Peggy's record is that "she now has the best calling card for the world to hear her music and that (he) was proud to be part of the project." Powell invited Mann to C Lazy U to perform in front of their guests during Powell and Wilson’s show.
