32 bikes up for auction April 24 in Granby

On April 24, the Granby Police Department will offer 32 bicycles by silent open bid process beginning at 5 p.m. and ending at 7 p.m. The viewing and auction will occur at the Granby Town Shop located at 548 E. Topaz Avenue.The bicycles have been accrued by the Granby Police Department as found property and this lot of bicycles was originally advertised for identification and recovery in October 2008. The list of bicycles is included below. A full description or proof of ownership will be required to claim a bicycle prior to auction.The quality of these items range from operable bikes to pieces of bicycles in poor condition. Good condition bicycles will have a $10 minimum bid request and the poor quality items will have no minimum bid attached.All winning bid items must be immediately paid for and removed from the premise.The Fraser-Winter Park Police Department and the Kremmling Police Department will be offering bicycles for bid by this same process, at the same location, on this same date.
