Grand Lake Downtown Assesment process takes place March 4 and 5

GRAND LAKE – The continuation of Grand Lake’s Downtown Assessment process is taking place March 4-5 in Grand Lake, and all area citizens are encouraged to attend.
On Monday, March 4, a downtown assessment team will facilitate discussion with different sectors of the Grand Lake community. Those associated with the town’s operations will meet in the morning, then those associated with special districts and organizations will meet at 1 p.m.; business owners and commercial property owners will meet at 5 p.m.; then residents of the town and surrounding area meet at 6:45 p.m. All meetings take place at the Grand Lake Community House.
The following day, Tuesday, March 5, during an eventing reception, the downtown assessment team will present to the Grand Lake community its recommendations. The reception takes place at 6 p.m., at the Grand Lake Community House.
The downtown assessment team is made up of Katherine Correll and Isabel Waldman of Downtown Colorado, Inc., Marc Cittone and Greg Winkler of the Department of Local Affairs, Planning Director Chad Phillips of Routt County, Landscape Architect Elena Scott of Norris Design, Frisco, and Laurie Findley of the Granby Area Chamber of Commerce.
