Mr. and Mrs. John Patrick Schutz
Ms. Alexandra Christine Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred D. Moore of Fraser, Colorado and Mr. John Patrick Schutz, son of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Schutz of Cedar Lake, Indiana, were united in marriage September 22, 2012. The Moore residence was the setting for the 4pm ceremony.
The bride wore a beautiful champagne/ivory satin and lace floor length gown with a cathedral length veil and carried white tulips and blue delphiniums in a cascading bouquet.
The maid of honor, Miss Nikki Donidio, and bridesmaid Miss Lyndsay Beasley, wore cobalt blue dresses and bridesman, Casey Story wore a dark grey suit with a cobalt blue tie.
The groom wore a handsome dark grey suit with a champagne tie, and the best man, Joe Fleming, and groomsmen, Adam Cwiklin and Sean Schutz, brother of the groom and usher Brian Moore, brother of the bride, wore similar attire with cobalt blue ties.
Serving as flower girl was Miss Evalina Schutz, the groom’s darling niece.
The reverend Mr. Adam Hersfelt officiated the ceremony, which was attended by close friends and family from Fraser, Winter Park, Denver, Ft. Collins, Idaho, Arizona, Australia, Illinois, Indiana, Nevada, Wisconsin, Washington, Oregon, Texas, Massachusetts, Montana, West Virginia, Ohio, Utah, Kentucky and Florida!
Andy Moore furnished a great band named “Slide Cat Royal” that played “It was a Teenage Wedding” and many more, while Ben Hustis “DJ”ed starting with the Goonies Theme Song till far into the night.
Following the ceremony there was a reception on the lawn with great views of James and Parry Peaks. Two baby moose attended the reception to make it all perfect.
The bride and groom departed for their honeymoon to the Maine coast with – guess what? A river trip booked in!
A lovely dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at New Hong Kong in Winter Park, Sept. 21, following the rehearsal.
