Brush fire in Granby burns partial hillside

Grand Fire Protection District No. 1 responded to a brush fire at the old Presbyterian church off of New Church Ave. on Friday, June 8, in Granby. About 2,000 square-feet of sage brush and grass burned, a fire sparked by a small fire pit on the property, according to Schelly Olson, public information officer for Grand Fire Protection District No. 1.
