Call for artists: Banner design contest for downtown Granby

Main Street Granby, in association with the Town of Granby, is holding a Banner Design Contest for the light poles in downtown Granby. Winning art will be printed on banners and displayed at appropriate times during the year.

Artwork depicting “Life in Grand County” is requested from adults, teens and elementary age artists. The artwork should depict life in Granby in winter, summer, fall or spring. Each artist may enter one or all four of the categories.

Artwork must be ready to hang and should be dropped off at the Granby Chamber office before May 15.

Artwork will be accepted through May 15 and will be displayed at the town hall. The winning artwork will be printed on banners and auctioned off at an end of summer Granby event. The funds raised through the auction will be divided between Main Street Granby and the artist.
