Charges unlikely against United passenger

DENVER (AP) – The FBI says it doesn’t expect to file charges against a passenger accused of disruptive behavior on a United Airlines flight from Las Vegas to Chicago.

The passenger, whose name wasn’t released, was removed from the flight during an unscheduled stop at Denver International Airport late Tuesday.

Denver FBI spokeswoman Kathy Wright says charges aren’t likely.

Wright says she has no further information about the case. United spokesman Mike Trevino says he has no details on the passenger’s conduct.

Trevino says the captain of Flight 428 decided to land in Denver to have the passenger removed. The plane then took off and landed at Chicago O’Hare International Airport early Wednesday.
