DENVER (AP) – Medical marijuana is being tied to an early morning killing in Denver.
Police say a man was fatally shot in the head just after midnight Tuesday at a residence in northeast Denver. The suspected gunman was also shot.
A police spokesman said the two men were “conducting a medical marijuana transaction.” The shooting wasn’t at a dispensary.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and the second man is being treated at the Denver Health Medical Center. Neither man has been named, and there was no immediate word on the suspected gunman’s injuries.
