Eagle Scout thanks those who helped him succeed
August 12, 2009
To the Editor:
The Boy Scouts has been an important part of my life for many years in the Fraser Valley. In May 2009 I was awarded my Eagle Scout Award after completion and approval of my project, which is a handicap accessible wildlife viewing blind. The completed project is located along the river at the Kemp-Breeze State Wildlife Area, just outside of Parshall.
I would like to publicly thank the following individuals and local companies who contributed their time, assistance with construction and assembly of the project, and donated materials: Joey Visconti, Gary Ziegler, Troop Leader Bill Hiler and Connor Hardman from Troup 605 in Granby, Doug Gillham, Wildlife Technicial with the Colorado Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife, Brian Dornbusch of Alan B Carter Architects, Rick Heitkamp of Heitkamp Construction, Highland Lumber, The Roofing Company, Granby Country Ace Hardware and Lumber, and Mountain Parks Electric. And of course my family, Paul and Alison and my Grandmother, Gudrun Naschak.
Being involved wth the Boy Scouts has provided me with the environment needed to learn skills and leadership abilities that will follow me throughout my life. Thank you again to everyone involved with my success.
