East Grand school ballot will seek tech mill levy, feature unchallenged incumbents
September 15, 2009
The election mail ballot this fall is poised to contain an East Grand School District question asking for a continuation of a technology mill levy.
The levy would apply during years 2010, 2011 and 2012.
According to the language of the ballot question, the $300,000 in tax revenue would be used to “upgrade technology, including hardware, software, and staff training.”
The Nov. 3 ballot also will list three East Grand School District candidates running unopposed. East Grand School District president Tom Sifers of District 3, representing SilverCreek and Granby areas, board member Gale Delphia of District 4, representing Fraser and Winter Park, and Barbara Ahrens of District 6 representing Grand Lake, are all running for another term unchallenged.
