Support libraries at progressive dinner, Dec. 4
November 12, 2013
It's time for sharing great food and wine with friends at the 27th Annual Progressive Dinner event. This year's event will be held on Wed, Dec. 4. The dinner benefits the libraries of Grand County while showcasing the excellent restaurant attractions of the Valley.
Organized by the Friends of the Grand County Library, the Progressive Dinner includes two routes, each featuring four area restaurants. There's a walking route for those who like to get some exercise before the next course, and a bus route traveling to restaurants farther away. Both routes begin with hors d'oeuvres and wine and move on to soup and salad, followed by a delicious entree, more wine and end with a fabulous dessert and coffee or tea. If you would like to continue your evening after dessert there is an after-dinner party at Smokin Moe's Ribhouse and Saloon with drinks and music from the Grand County Blues Society.
This year's routes are: Green Route (Bus): Fontenot's Fresh Seafood and Grill, Hideaway Bistro @ Silverado II, Bistro 28 @ Pole Creek and Tabernash Tavern; Purple Route (Walking): DaVinci Restaurant, Randi's Grill & Pub, Strip & Tail and Deno's Mountain Bistro.
Both tours finish at Smokin' Moes with live music.
