Fraser board extends plat deadlines for The Village at Grand Park

Sky-Hi News Staff

The Fraser Board of Trustees has elected to extend the deadline for the execution of all plat documents related to The Village at Grand Park – Filing 2.

The town voted unanimously to approve the extension as well as extend its prior approval of three final plat documents in the filing at its Feb. 18 board meeting.

The extension gives Grand Park until Feb. 18, 2020, to execute all plat documents related to the filing

The town board first approved the final plat phasing plan for The Village at Grand Park – Filing 2 on June, 4, 2008, under the condition that any plat document not executed and recorded within five years would expire unless the town board granted an extension.

Though the deadline has passed, town staff recommended the town board approve an extension on the plat documents.

The town’s alternatives to the five year extension were to approve a shorter extension or deny the extension altogether, which would force Grand Park to reprocess all plats associated with the filing.
