Town of Fraser board of Trustees member Adam Cwiklin resigned from office Jan. 6 after serving on the board for nearly six years.

He is relocating to Fort Collins for work, said Town Manager Jeff Durbin.

The “very Fraser” resolution accepting his resignation humorously states that it will be conditioned on Cwiklin paying all overdue book fines and parking tickets.

“If Mr. Cwiklin really thinks he’s getting off this easy, he is sadly mistaken,” the resolution concludes.

The town was already scheduled to hold elections for two seats on April 6. David Pratt and Steve Sumrall have terms expiring. With Cwiklin’s resignation, the seat being filled by appointee Kim Linin will also be open. All the seats are four-year terms.

Anyone wishing to run for office can pick up a packet from town hall beginning Feb. 15.

Those wishing to vote in the April election must be registered with the town or county.

Voter registration forms can be found on the town’s website, through the Grand County Election Department or the at Fraser Town Clerk’s office.
