Fraser-Winter Park Police seek suspect in attempted sexual assault

Fraser-Winter Park Police officers are investigating an attempted sexual assault that occurred in a Winter Park restaurant bathroom Sunday evening.

A 16-year-old girl reported that a man tried to sexually assault her in the women’s bathroom of the restaurant shortly after 6:30 p.m., according to police, who said the suspect immediately fled and has not been located.

“We’re still in the infancy of the investigation,” Police Chief Glen Trainor said, confirming that the case is being treated as an isolated incident.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s with a slender build, a reddish-brown goatee, and greenish-brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a dark green baseball hat.
