Joe Morales and his wife Carol, owners of Morales Farms, will be giving away free fresh produce at the Granby Farmer’s Market from 3-9 p.m. – or as long as supplies last – on Friday during the farm’s 3rd Annual Help Feed Grand County Food Drive.

In exchange for canned goods that will be donated to church food banks in Grand County, customers will receive free locally grown produce.

“It’s kind of the celebration of the harvest,” Carol said. “It’s an indirect way of helping our community.”

Friday, the last Granby Farmer’s Market of the year, will be celebrated as Oktoberfest, featuring beer, wine, margaritas, live music by bands Tanzkapelle and Claddagh, a quilt show, announcement of the Scarecrow Contest winners and, of course, fresh produce and food.
