Grand County airports scheduled for improvements, closures

Grand County is accepting bids for the Granby Airport improvement project open May 20. Information will be published in the Sky-Hi Daily News legals. Work is scheduled to begin around June 1, closing the airport for 90 days.

Work begins at Kremmling’s McElroy Field starting the first or second week of June, closing the airport for approximately four weeks on the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until noon. The airport reopens Thursday afternoon through Sunday for weekend flying.

The front entrance of the Grand County Administration Center will close for 10 days starting May 20. Please use the back entrance. Parking is available behind the building.

The offices of the Grand County Board of County Commissioners and County Manager will moved to the second floor of the Grand County Administration Center the week of May 18. The BOCC meetings are held in the new board room on the second floor.
