Grand County comes through in the clutch again

To the Editor:Once again Grand County residents have pulled together to help out a friend in need. We would like to thank you for all of the help, donations, participants in the dinner and silent auction that was held for the benefit of Sonya Pellini and her two children. These three wonderful people lost their husband and father in a freak logging accident and also had to have their home completely torn apart due to mold. They needed some help and all of you contributed to that need. Even at times when we all get disgruntled about living in Grand County you could never ask for a better place to live when you need a little or a lot of help. Because of all of you we made over $13,000 to help the Pellini family out. What a blessing. We would like to give a special thanks to all of these individuals and businesses who helped out with making this benefit a huge success. If we failed to mention someone we are sorry the helpers and donations were unbelievable.Thank you, Grand County.Paul & Nancy Stuart and Family, Humphrey’s Gifts, Bruce Janssen, Grand Lake Hardware, Luke Henry, Larry & Susie Peterson, Buckskinner Collectibles, Grand Lake Village Hub, The Pearl Dragon of Granby, Shadow Mtn.
