Grand County community really turned out despite hard times

To the Editor:

“Thank you” doesn’t seem enough to express what I want to say to all my friends who helped with the Jenson Benefit that was so greatly appreciated. It came during a time when so many people are experiencing hard economic times, which makes it even more special.

I want to express my sincere appreciation to my very good friends, Grace Gage and Sue Frank. Their loving hearts are the reason this all happened. They had lots of help from Bob Frank, Davenlyn Block, Chris Lynn, Shirley Renken (and Ron), and Shari and Dave Holland.

Obviously, it wouldn’t have been the success it was without the donations from Sue Frank Freelance Hair Designs, Rocky Mountain Bar and Grill, Middle Park Meats, The Fishing Hole, Marty Pexton at the Kremmling Chamber of Commerce, Michelle Licha – Massage, Flowers by Marcia, Dara Fox – Massage, Shake ‘n’ Burger, Motion Sports, Tri-River, Nettie at A La Mode, Nicki at The Qtr. Circle Restaurant, Pearl Dragon Restaurant, Hot Sulphur Springs Chocolate Factory, City market, Brenda Helton, Kremmling Mercantile, Los Amigos Restaurant, Cunningham Automotive, Joe Lobello – Taxidermist, Kim Carpenter – Passion Parties, Margie Arbogast – Juice Plus, Max Basemann – Construction Guys Inc., Charles Dumond, Moose Cafe, Designs by Janet Vocate, Thunder Gulch Bird Hunts, CSU Extension Hall, High Country Radio 106.3, Park Ave Hair (thanks, Kriss), Sara Miller – Red Mtn RV Park, Jana Wall and Sky-Hi Daily News. Thank you. And thank to everyone who bought raffle tickets and spaghetti dinners.

I am truly blessed to live amongst so many wonderful people.

Elaine Jenson
