Grand County police blotter: Dec. 12-13

Dec. 12

2:17 p.m. Dispatch received a call about a male sitting outside a Granby business appearing to be smoking a crack pipe. The man was gone when police arrived.

Dec. 13

2:45 a.m. A cow elk was hit on US Highway 40 in Granby.

7:38 a.m. Flames were showing on top of the chimney in a Granby home. Grand Fire was called to assess.

12:37 p.m. A three-car accident occurred at a Granby hotel. One car is in a ditch.

12:51 p.m. A car went off the road on County Road 608 in Granby. A woman and her dog were seen leaving the scene and walking home. A tow company was later called.

8:26 p.m. A structure fire on 10th Street in Kremmling was called into dispatch. By 10 p.m. Kremmling fire was cleaning up the scene.
