Grand County support of Peace Gospel International concert greatly appreciated

To the Editor:I would like to extend thanks to all the sponsors and supporters of An Evening Of Music Benefit Concert. The concert, in support of Peace Gospel International, took place Sunday evening, July 20, and was a great success. We raised more than $2,600 to help Peace Gospels work of empowering the poor in South Asia.Thank you so much to all the businesses and individuals who generously sponsored the event with money donations, including Grand County Asphalt Care Specialists, Grand Woodworks, Winter Park-Fraser Valley Rotary Club, and Vision Companies. Also, a big thank you goes to the Grand County businesses who donated materials and services to make this event possible: Safeway, Wild Horse Gourmet, The Hungry Bear Restaurant, The Rustic Urn Fine Florists, McConnell Printing Company Inc., Copy & Ship of Winter Park, Grand River Supply Company, ALCO Discount Store, and Mountain Grind Coffee & Bistro. This concert could not have happened without these generous sponsors. The concert also could not have happened without a host of people who volunteered to help, who are too many to name. But a special thank you to all my fellow musicians, including Rachel Reese, Erin Life, Bill Schade, Roger Shaw, Ella Knight, and Jim Hoyhtya, who all performed so beautifully. Also, thank you to Fran Cook and the Church of the Eternal Hills for letting us use their facilities for the concert and reception.Of course, this concert also could not have happened without the audience. So thank you so much to everyone who came and so generously gave to support Peace Gospel International. It was a wonderful evening and we are so grateful for every one of you.Nicole NuttingFraser
