The Grand Foundation has announced its 2010 grant disbursements. The Foundation awarded $179,695 to 47 local nonprofit and/or service organizations. Over the last 14 years, the Foundation has granted $1.7 million to organizations in Grand County.”During challenging times, most nonprofits see record growth and increased in their grant requests,” said Executive Director Megan Ledin. “Our community understands the needs of our residents and guests and stands behind the Grand Foundation to help make a difference in someone else’s life.
