STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) – President George W. Bush’s former adviser Karl Rove is planning to be in Steamboat Springs to deliver a keynote address to a conservative group in August.
The Steamboat Institute says Bush’s former deputy chief of staff has agreed to speak to the group, which is holding its conference Aug. 27 and 28. The group is a nonprofit that advocates for limited government, lower taxes, and strong national defense among other things.
It costs $250 to register for the entire conference but people can also pay $100 to just attend the keynote dinner with Rove. The dinner will be held at The Steamboat Grand hotel.
