September 11, 2009
The Kremmling Area Chamber of Commerce announces the return of the Old Fashioned Fall Country Dance on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Middle Park Fairgrounds Dance Hall featuring live music by the Clint Clymer and the Outlaw Gypsies.
Don’t let the cowboy hat fool you. This is definitely not a 2-steppin’ line dance band. Clint Clymer and the Outlaw Gypsies serve up their Funky-Tonk mix of Rock, Country and Rhythm and Blues with sincerity, style and energy. Front man Clint Clymer leads this 4-piece powerhouse with his distinctive, soulful vocals and is backed by the stellar playing and harmony vocals of Lead Guitarist Joe O’Bryan, Bass Man Tim Hempstead and Percussionist Ikaika Pekelo. Their on-stage synergy is as pure as it is contagious and one thing is certain -these guys will blow you away.
The dance, proudly sponsored in part by, Bar Lazy J Guest Ranch, Rusty Spurr Ranch, Red Mountain RV Park, Moose Cafe, Kremmling Mercantile, The Junk Trunk, Middle Park Meat Co., Kremmling West End Liquor, Base Camp Cabins, KRKY 930 AM and Grand County Colorado Tourism Board, features live music from 8-11 p.m., concessions and bar for 21 and over only. Tickets are $7 for chamber members and $10 for non-members.
Since September is Hunger Awareness month, guests who bring two non-perishable food items to the dance will get $1 off admission.
