Kremmling: Sharpshooters’ 4-H Club meets Fridays

The 4-H shooting season has begun. Rain or shine, the Sharpshooters 4-H Club meets every Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Blue Valley Shooting Range. Club members range in age from 8 to 18.

The leaders for shotgun are Chris Miller, Gene Abrams and Andrew Kwang.

Leaders for .22 rifle are Mark Volt, Andy Malish and Brenda Kwang.



Crystal Miller is the leader for archery.

Once a month, a business meeting is held at 5:30 p.m., when members discuss business and/or give demonstrations.



The new officers this year are: Joe Roice, president; Luke Miller, vice president; Cody Volt, treasurer; Anna Soltis, secretary and reporter; Caitlyn Miller, historian; and Andy Volt and Nolan Smith, pledge leaders.

The last meeting of archery and .22 rifle will be held on Aug. 21 and the last day of shotgun will be on Sept. 4. State archery and .22 rifle competitions will be held in Pueblo on Aug. 22 and 23, and the state shotgun competition will be held in Colorado Springs on Sept. 5 to 7.

Look for display boards or other exhibits from club members during the Middle Park Fair in Kremmling.
