Kremmlng: Cliffview Assisted Living Center welcomes new administrators

Cliffview Assisted Living Center in Kremmling recently welcomed new co-administrators, Mary Jo Hargadine and Barb Elliott, at an ice cream social for residents, families and friends.

The reception allowed the community to meet the new staff and better understand how their backgrounds will enable them to be successful in their new position.

Mary Jo Hagerdine’s background includes an extended amount of time with direct experience at the residence. She is a registered nurse who has worked at Cliffview for 14 years first as the dietary manager and then as director of Resident Services.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Northern Colorado in 1977 and had several years of experience with the elderly in long term care prior to her employment at Cliffview. Mary Jo also works part time at Kremmling Memorial Hospital as a med-surg charge nurse.

Barb Elliott has experience both at Cliffview and in working in the surrounding community. She was also part of the original management team at Cliffview when it opened in 1994 ” serving as the director of Resident Services for the first four years.

Since then Barb served as the town clerk for Hot Sulphur Springs and also works part time for the Cliffside Inn in Kremmling.

Her background also includes a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Wyoming, with an emphasis in gerontology.
