Thank you for making the Grand County Bipartisan debates Grand,

We would like to express our thanks to all those that made the 2016 Grand County Bipartisan debates a Grand Success. More than 400 attended the five events and listened to the commissioner candidates explain their positions on a wide variety of issues facing the county. Not only was this a bipartisan effort, but the sponsors, host organizations, and emcees also reflect a complete county-wide effort. Advertising sponsors were: Igadi, High Country Conservatives, Grand County Board of Realtors, Winter Park/Fraser Chambers of Commerce, and Blue Valley Ranch. Hosting organizations and locations: Town of Hot Sulphur, Fraser Valley Elementary School, Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, Town of Grand Lake, Grand Lake Women’s Club, West Grand High School, Kremmling Rotary, East Grand High School, and Grand County Board of Realtors. Emcees were: Bob McVay, Mayor Hot Sulphur Springs, Mike Turner TV18, Pat Person, GL Women Club, Larry Bannman, Kremmling Rotary, Loyal Stuebe, Board of Realtors. Timekeepers were: Doug Doudna and Brendan Gale. A special thanks is due the candidates for their participation. They are: District #1 Democrat : Andy Miller and Jane Tollett, District #1 Republican Richard Cimino and Chas McConnell, District #2 Republican Merrit Linke and Tom Weydert. Also thanks to those of you who submitted questions—we couldn’t have done it without you. Please VOTE !!!! It Matters.
