Letter: Homecoming success

Melanie Schmidt
Kremmling, CO Colorado

To the Editor:

I would like to thank everyone who helped make West Grand High School’s homecoming week a success. The students had a wonderful time, and that is due to so many people in the community. Thanks to the town board for allowing us to have activities in the park and to the police and fire associations for helping with activities, especially the bonfire.

Thank you to Elizabeth Carmichael and Kem Davidson and the rest of the Booster Club for their hands-on and financial support. I would also like to thank Kacey Beres and the Chamber of Commerce for their help in coordinating activities and for letting us use their facilities. The Billingtons made beautiful sashes for our royalty, and I want them to know how much we appreciate all they do for the school.

I would especially like to thank the staff at the high school for being so supportive of the alternate schedule and the kids’ activities during this week. The merchants and community members in our town are always ready to rally behind our students and show their devotion to the school and the students.

To everyone else who helped, thank you very much.

Finally, I would like to thank Laura Bray for all she does for the school and for my son.
