Parents of cancer patient grateful for giving community
My name is Bonnie Knutson. I live in Wisconsin. Our daughter has lived in Grand County since October 1993. Her name is Traci Brammer. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Grand County community for their amazing generosity and compassion they have shown towards our daughter Traci and her family. Traci lives in Tabernash and works for the public works department in Winter Park. Traci was diagnosed with colon cancer about one year ago. Everyone from her coworkers to her friends and neighbors have supported her with tireless dedication to helping her from supplying meals while she was enduring chemo, cleaning their home, and her amazing work crew. A loving note can barely say everything that we are feeling.
Thank you doesn't say it all but it is a nice alternative to overwhelming you with so much gratitude and appreciation for everything you as a community have done for Traci and her family.
The compassion and caring that you have shown is amazing. As a mother hundreds of miles away, it is so comforting to know Traci is surrounded by such kind and caring people.
So again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Traci is truly my hero. She gets her strength from this wonderful community.
Bonnie and Richard Knutson,
