New Mexican eatery opens in Fraser

Pedro and Josefina De Santiago have brought a variety of their best homemade, authentic Mexican dishes to the menu of a new restaurant Los Napalos in Fraser.

Specialties include the chicken fajitas and homemade chili rellenos. Along with traditional tacos and tamales, cook Elizabeth Alvarados also offers a selection of barbacoa enchiladas, flautas, pechhuga empanizada (breaded or grilled chicken), chili Colorado, choriqueso, and chicken or beef-filled sopas.

Other highlights include a light and fruity blended cantaloupe drink and baskets of homemade tortilla chips on every table complimented, by fresh mild and hot salsas.

Diners can top it all off with one of Los Napalos’ desserts: flan napalitano, arroz con leche or cheese cake.
