Bryan Shane Schmuck
Bryan Shane Schmuck, 47, of Chandler, Ariz, passed away Saturday, March 30, in Scottsdale, Ariz. Schmuck, a construction manager, was born in Longmont to Randy and Karyl Schmuck of Granby.
Bryan attended East Grand Schools, k-12. He was very active in sports, he played basketball, was on the track team, played on the Panther football team all four years of high school, and was on the Middle Park Panther ski team for three years.
He graduated in 1985, belonging to the National Honor Society and attended Colorado Northwestern Community College for flight school. He received his commercial pilot license, a flight instructor rating along with an instrument instructor rating, etc. He then hired on and flew for Fed-Ex.
He then met his wife, Rebecca, and they moved to Arizona where he became a construction home-builder for the last 17 years of his life. He was an excellent wood craftsman. He so enjoyed hunting, hiking, golf, water and snow skiing and most of all, scuba diving.
Bryan is survived by his wife of 18 years, Rebecca; daughter, Nicole Nightingale (Silt); son, Shane (Granby); parents, Randy and Karyl (Granby); brother, Kevin (Mesa, Ariz.); grandmother, Betty (Windsor); and grandchildren, Breana and Celeste Nightingale.
A private memorial was held in Mesa, Ariz. The family would like to thank everyone for the cards, flowers, the wonderful heart-felt phone calls and their prayers.
