She moved to Colorado with her husband Bill shortly after WWII and Colorado became her “forever” home. She worked for the Denver Public Schools for several years in order to be home with her children and then for the United Methodist Church at their headquarters in Denver where she worked for nearly 30 years as secretary for several district superintendents. Betty and Bill were long-time members of Grant Ave Methodist Church (Denver) where they had a close community of life-long friends. A celebration of her life will take place in Grand Lake on Dec. 22.
