Nordic ski swap is Oct. 29
October 28, 2011
The snow is flying in the valley and blanketing the high country. Local Nordic and Alpine areas are set to open mid-November and friends and visitors will start coming to the Valley. You should have started your winter workout getting your body ready for the slopes and trails. Now it’s time to get your equipment and clothes ready.
Nordic Ski Swap
Grand Nordic is sponsoring The Annual Nordic Ski Swap Oct 29. at the YMCA-Snow Mtn Ranch Nordic Center. Have used equipment to sell? Bring it at 5pm. Looking for used equipment or last year’s hot sellers? Another pair of poles or more wax? Newer skis and bindings? Besides the individual bargains, both YMCA-Snow Mtn Ranch and Devils Thumb will have last year’s gear priced to sell and some new things – all ready for you to take home. Start shopping at 6 p.m until 8:30 p.m. or just bring a dessert and have some coffee and talk to other cross country skiers. Experienced skiers will be on hand for gear and clothing advise, trail talk and ski technique advice. Free admission and open to the Public. All ages are welcome
