Rocky Mountain National Park will set up Sobriety Checkpoint this weekend

Rocky Mountain National Park staff are preparing for the upcoming Labor Day weekend. To help ensure a safe and enjoyable weekend for park visitors, park rangers will be increasing Law Enforcement Patrols and conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint.

This is planned in conjunction with other local and state law enforcement agencies throughout the state of Colorado.

“We hope that those who travel to Rocky Mountain National Park from home this upcoming holiday will have a safe and enjoyable weekend,” said Park spokesperson Kyle Patterson.
