October 13, 2011
“The Boy and The Bandit” is a western short film that will be filmed the week of Oct. 14 in several Colorado locations including the Winding River Resort and Colorado Cabin Adventures in Grand Lake and South Park City Museum in Fairplay.
Film students of the Colorado Film School (CFS), partnered with Community College of Aurora and Regis University, are creating the authentic western short film using cutting-edge digital cinematography techniques and equipment including the RED camera. They are also engaged in fundraising for Post-Production, as well as International Film Festival entry fees, with the ultimate goal of creating a feature length film.
The film is a classic western story using the backdrop of the beautiful and rugged Rocky Mountain’s landscape and written by Kyle Weintraub for the HD/16mm class at CFS.
