Fraser rodeo celebrates 25th year with a dance

Frasers John Work Arena will feature another exciting rodeo of the 2008 High Country Stampede Rodeo Series on Saturday.This Saturdays rodeo will be the fifth on the annual series which is known as the Best Little Rodeo in Colorado. All of its rodeos, which are held at the arena located one mile west of Fraser on County Road 73, begin with the junior rodeo events at 4 p.m., followed by the open rodeo at 7 p.m.As a special attraction this Friday, Aug. 1, the rodeo will be sponsoring its Boots and Buckles Dance from 6-10 p.m. at the John Work Arena Pavilion. The public is invited. The Third Time Lucky band will be performing and the arenas Sagebrush Grille will be serving. The dance is a celebration of the Stampedes 25th season.
