Tuesday, June 29, in the spirit of the Fourth of July, the Grand Lake Lady Tee Bags Flag Tournament winners were Carolyn Moore, 1st place; Coni Moore, 2nd place; and a tie for third between Jeanne Lucas and Laura Summers.Carolyn Mooreplayed an amazing round includingthree chip-ins on holes 4, 5 and 6. Grand Lake’s Nifty Niners game this week was “Evens,” using the scores from even numbered holes for their tournament total. Winners included Jan Jackson, 1st place; followed by Lee Rogers in 2nd place ; and Sharon Peterson in 3rd place. Jan Jackson took first place with the fewest putts followed by Sharon Peterson.It was a beautiful day out on the Grand Lake Golf Couse Tuesday, July 6. The Ladies of the Nifty Niners played the front nine with a game called Odd Holes. In adding only the scores of Holes 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9; Lucette Kottcamp ws the first place winner followed by Lee Rogers, 2nd place and Lynn Turnquist coming in a close 3rd. Linda Hicks and Margaret Nill took the honors with the least amount of putts for the day.The ladies of the Grand Lake Tee Bags enjoyed a game of Cha Cha Cha with each team made of up four players. 1st place goes out to the team of Ivy Howard, Elaine Jacoby, Phyllis Stephens and Kathy Serra. Jeanne Lucas, Tina Hull, Coni Moore and Linda Appelhans came in second, followed by Lorraine Johnson, Kathy Serra, Sharon Curtis and Beth Teal. Three Chip-inswere reported. Phyllis Stephens, Hole #14; Sharon Curtis, Hole #13 and Tina Hull, Hole #2. One Birdie skillfully went to Lorraine Johnson on Hole #7.The ladies of both the Grand Lake Nifty Niners and the Grand Lake Tee Bags extend an invitiation to allladiesinterested in joining either of these fun Clubs. Everyone is invited to attend the Pink & Blue Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, July 19 at the Grand Lake Golf Course.9 a.m. Shotgun start, registration begins at 7:30 a.m. All proceeds benefit Susan G.
