Lady Panther hoopsters awarded for record season performances

The Lady Panthers end-of-season basketball banquet was held March 16 at Mountain Parks Electric. The C-Team finished with a 7-1 record, the JV with a 16-2 record and the varsity team went undefeated in the Frontier League’s West Division, 10-0 and 14-8 overall. This was the best season ever posted by all three levels. The future looks bright for the program with only two seniors moving on. Both Cindy Hobbs and Lihla Clancy will be missed and we wish them great success in their next adventure. Several awards were presented. This included top honors in the league with four athletes being recognized on the all conference team and on the state level, receiving seven certificates of All State Academic recognition.
