Taste of Fall was a big hit

Taste of FallThe First Annual Taste of Fall was the place to be Saturday night, Sept. 19. The Winter Park Mountain Lodge location and crew made for the perfect venue. The live music with Claddagh, Tim Connelly, Washboard Annie, and Ali Greyson kept toes tappin’ and heads bobbin’.The tables were decorated with colorful creations by Frank Expressions – materials donated by Safeway. The aroma of the fabulous food was only half as good as the food itself – and there was plenty. Knowledgeable vintners and brewers were there explaining about wines and beer from Colorado and other places. There were many happy auction goers as they perused the silent auction and White Elephant auction. Thanks to our tireless Board Members and Volunteers and a special thanks to Marissa Lorenz for pulling it all together.Thank you to: Sponsors: Alpine Sun Ski & Sport, Ltd., CommuniAction, East Grand Fire Fighters Fund, Edward Jones, Frank Expressions, Granby Medical Center, Granby Volunteer Firefighters, Grand Curves, Grand Mountain Bank, Kopy Kat, Kurt & Elizabeth Oldham, Mountain parks Electric, NRC Broadcasting, Pearl Dragon, Radcliffe Photography, Sara & Rich Rosene, State Farm – Neibauer Agency, Wapiti Mountain Builders, Wels Fargo Bank, Winter Park/Fraser Valley Rotary, Winter Park Resort.Beverage Providers: Winter Park Winery, B & K Distributing, Republic National Distributing.Food Providers: Bistro 28 at Pole Creek, Captain Spongefoot, Fraser Deli & Mexican Grill, Grand County 4H/Future Farmers of America, Old Word Bakery, Rise & Shine Bakery, Sharkey’s Eatery, Taste of the Rockies, Wild Horse Catering, Winter Park Honey, Winter Park Mountain Lodge.Taste of Fall organizers
