Winter Park & Fraser Valley roll out Open For Business Week
November 11, 2010
The Winter Park/Fraser Valley Chamber of Commerce is celebrating “The Winter Park & Fraser Valley Open For Business Week,” Nov. 15 through Nov. 21. The purpose of “Open For Business Week” is to incorporate the 71st season of Winter Park Resort, making it Colorado’s longest continually running resort, and to celebrate winter and the new additions to the community. Several chamber members will host grand openings and ribbon cuttings, including the new Epic Mountain Sports store, DeAntonio’s, Fraser Valley Hot Dog and the expansion of Be…Fashion Boutique – all located in downtown Winter Park. In Fraser, the new Rocky Mountain Chalet (formally Rocky Mountain Inn & Hostel) has been updated by the new owner Dianne Wettersten. Alpine Ski and Sun in Old Town Winter Park is celebrating its 27th anniversary and giving away gift certificates to the first 27 people who attend. Both Grand Mountain Bank and Millennium Bank will host open houses to showcase their new presidents. And participants may have the chance to congratulate Branch Manager Jeanette McQuade at Fraser Valley Library on her new position. Open For Business Week also includes the revitalization of the Chamber’s Marketing/Sales campaign “Colorado Wide Open Spaces,” the new chamber logo and “ZB.” ZB is our new chamber mascot that will be found all over Winter Park and Fraser. Stop by the Winter Park Visitor Centers breakfast open to pick up your ZB, drop off brochures and educate the staff on your business happenings.
