In the spotlight | 2018 Best real estate agent: Carrie George
October 26, 2018
Grand County has its fair share of Realtors, but for the readers of Sky-Hi News, Carrie George of Kremmling's Keller Williams Realty office leads the pack.
"It is a huge honor to be voted by your community as one of the top people in your field," George said. "I am lucky to live in a community where there are lots of very good Realtors I get to work with all the time."
George is a fifth generation Colorado native who hails from Denver. She began her career in the real estate business in 2004 and has spent her entire career working from Grand County. She focuses her efforts on Grand County and the northern portion of Summit County.
George sees her role as a Realtor as being primarily about supporting buyers and sellers as they look to make monumental life decisions.
"Buying or selling a home is probably one of the biggest decisions you will ever make in your life and I look at my job as a way to support someone in that decision, but not make that decision for them," George said. "People tell me I am very approachable and easy to work with. I have a pretty strong marketing background, as well. I think sellers appreciate the marketing I do."
George and the other members of the Kremmling Keller Williams Realty office also put a big emphasis on giving back to the community. The office hosts annual events, such as the fall Great Pumpkin Giveaway during which local children can receive a free pumpkin at the office while also enjoying various crafting and decorating stations.
