Annual Mountain Messiah performance is Dec. 21

‘Tis the season for music.

The 18th annual Mountain Messiah community sing-a-long will take place at the chapel at YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch on Dec. 21.

Billed as one of the highest performances of George Frederic Handel’s “Messiah,” the Grand County performance is open to the public.

Those interested in performing a solo, conducting a chorus or accompanying on the piano should contact Joan Shaw at 970-726-4626 or by email at

Classical musicians who are interested in performing should also contact Shaw.

Mountain Messiah will begin at 7 p.m. The event is free for all ages.
