Mutton bustin’, ropin’, broncs, bulls, barrels and bikers … it’s rodeo time again.
Granby Ranch, The Flying Heels Rodeo Association, Granby Rotary and the Granby Chamber of Commerce are teaming up next weekend to bring family fun to Granby. Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13, at the Flying Heels arena across from City Market.
Included this year is the “Cowboy vs Biker” barrel race and diaper derby. Bring a package of diapers to benefit the Pregnancy Resource Connection and get half off admission of $10 for adults and $4 for kids.
Junior Rodeos are at 3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Veterans and scouts are admitted free. Rotary is offering concessions and a beer garden during the performances. For more information call 887-2311 or 928-310-8721.
Mutton busters and (dirt) bikers who want to compete may sign up at the rodeo when they arrive. Group tickets and advance tickets may be purchased at the Granby Chamber of Commerce, 475 E. Agate Ave., for $7 each for adults, $3 for kids.
