GCHA annual mid-winter potluck & Rex Rideout music
KREMMLING—Rex Rideout, Time Travel Music, and Dee Brown are presenting a rollicking and historic presentation on the explorations of Zebulon Pike as part of the Heritage Coalition Membership Kick-Off.
As the proprietor of Time Travel Music, Rex has performed at countless historic sites and museums across the West. His music has also been featured on television and radio. Rex plays many musical instruments, like mandolin, fiddle, guitar, banjo, and tin whistle, to name just a few. He enjoys partnering with other historians such as guest Dee Brown, a descendent of Zebulon Pike and member of the Park County Historical Society.
How 19th-Century Americans obtained their food, shelter and entertainment is a fascinating study, and Rex eagerly shares his findings at living-history engagements. Find out more about Rex Rideout and Time Travel Music at http://www.timetravelmusic.com.
The program is courtesy of Jim Yust, Grand County Historical Association Vice President of Museums, and himself a descendent of Zebulon Pike. Donations for the program will be accepted.
