Grand Chorale annual show on Sept. 10

The Grand Chorale, an official chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society with a chorus of about 18 men and woman, will hold its annual show at 7 p.m., Saturday, September 10 at the Church of the Eternal Hills in Tabernash.

The show will feature special guest, an internationally ranked quartet The Pine.The show will also feature the Grand Chorale and two chapter quartets: Fortune and The Geriatrics. The Grand Chorale sings primarily in the barbershop style of four-part harmony and will be featuring the Beach Boys and the Beatles with a sprinkling of show tunes.

During the year they perform at special events and Christmas shows, sing Valentine’s melodies to members of the community and perform at public and private events and local charities.

The Grand Chorale practices every Tuesday evening at 7:15 p.m. at St Jon’s Episcopal Church in Granby at 390 E. Garnet Avenue. The Grand Chorale is directed by Dr. Jeff Shaw and Assistant Director Jim Morris.
