What is your day like when working on your art?
I am generally am up before dawn to watch the sunrise and enjoy the different hues and colors as it gets light. This inspires me and helps with the vibrant colors in my work. I will spend most of the day working at least until the sun starts to wain, then it’s off to do chores. We have eight horses at the moment and I’m looking forward to a new Arabian baby in June.
What is the best part of being an artist in Grand County?
The best part of growing up and living in Grand County is the people that live here, too. We are a close community up here and living the western lifesyle is the only thing I know. I’m extremely grateful to have my life here with my family and animals, and I thank God everyday!
