Lion’s Gate Pines Lodge installs photographs from Robert Meyers-Lussier

Sky-Hi News Staff Report

Lion’s Gate Pines Lodge Interval Owners Association has installed over 40 unique photographs from award-winning Colorado photographer Robert Meyers-Lussier. The photographs will be placed into thematic groupings in the common areas throughout the building.

Photos taken represent Meyers-Lussier’s work with botanicals and landscapes from locations in and around Winter Park.

“Winter Park and areas surrounding have been an inspiration for me, artistically,” said Meyers-Lussier.

“My very first photos of the area were actually taken at the Lion’s Gate location. They plant beautiful gardens every year and I started taking photos of their flowers. As I traveled throughout the Winter Park region, it was impossible not to want to take photos everywhere I went. This turned out to be a multi-year opportunity, which led to a bonanza of incredible pictures. I feel so blessed to have a friend who invites me annually to spend time in the area.”

In honor of the completion of the photography installation, the association is hosting an Open House for general public viewing of the photos from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, April 23 at 301 Lions Gate Drive, in Winter Park. Light refreshments will be served and .small group tours will be offered.
