A warm, breezy day welcomed Grand County Historical Association’s (GCHA) Taste of History Champagne Brunch and Social at Devil’s Thumb Ranch. This was the 5th reincarnation of the fun, morning fundraiser started by Gary and Betsy DeVries, Greg Gallavan, Mike Turner and Kristi Martens. This year’s event raised over $30,000 to “Keep Cozens Ranch Museum Open.” The invaluable crew of 55 “Taste” volunteers worked on decorations, mimosas, and presenting the 200 donations for raffle, live and silent auctions. The jazzy band ‘Tight Like That” delighted over 250 guests who savored foods donated by 19 awesome area restaurants. The event was a huge success thanks to many community partners, including generous host and primary sponsor, Devil’s Thumb Ranch, pictured here. Photography by Sally DiSciullo.
