Theater’s fall show opens this week in Grand Lake
Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre’s fall show, opening Labor Day weekend, brings audiences plenty of non-stop laughter.
In Double Trouble (A Musical Tour De Farce), actors Josh Levinson and Elliott Litherland play two brothers on a quest to write a song for a major motion picture in 1940s Hollywood. The catch? They only have a few hours to create it.
With two performers playing 10 larger-than-life characters, Double Trouble promises audiences a madcap evening with plenty of slapstick comedy, singing and dancing. The G-rated show is the perfect way to end the summer on a high note.
Of the actors starring in Double Trouble, Elliott Litherland is pursuing his BFA in Musical Theatre at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Playing the other brother is Josh Levinson who RMRT audiences may remember from Peter Pan and A Chorus Line in 2013.
Double Trouble, directed by RMRT Artistic Associate Jeff Duke, is playing from Aug. 29 through Sept. 27. Call 970-627-3421 for more information and tickets, or visit rockymountainrep.com.
