Free Community Night Dec 18
December 11, 2015
Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre celebrates Christmas in the Rocky Mountains Friday, December 18, with a free community night complete with holiday refreshments, caroling and a visit from Santa. Doors open at 6 p.m. with The Muppet Christmas Carol showing on the silver screen at 7 p.m.
Stick around for RMRT's annual Home for the Holidays live musical performance Saturday (7:30 p.m.) and Sunday (2 p.m.). RMRT Artistic Director Michael Querio and Artistic Associate Jeff Duke have assembled four RMRT superstars for a song-filled holiday treat. Returning to the RMRT stage will be: Mallory Maedke, Kristin O'Connell, Michael E. Martin and Dylan Paul.
"We're so excited to have this cast of performers return to RMRT for this year's Christmas Show," said Artistic Director Michael Querio. "Dylan Paul has performed in so many of our December shows–but had to miss last year because he was performing on Broadway in the revival of Cabaret. Kristen is returning to RMRT after performing in Tokyo recently. And Michael, after his inspiring performances in Hands On A Hardbody at RMRT (2014), will return to fill our stage with a beautiful rendition of Oh Holy Night and other Christmas classics. Mallory has only been gone three months, and we're thrilled to have her back as well. And with AJ Robb at the keyboard, this program of holiday magic is going to be one of our best yet!"
Tickets still available for the Dec. 20 performance. Call 970.627.3421, or buy online at rockymountainrep.com.
