Letter to the editor: Join a legion and show your civic pride
A note to men and women interested in joining Sons of American Legion and/or the American Legion Auxiliary. Alex Klein American Legion Post 88 is looking for those people with ancestors who served in the military to join the Sons of American Legion and Legion Auxiliary. This is an opportunity to show your pride for your fathers, grandfathers, mothers, grandmothers or other relatives that were active military. The Legion meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Mavericks Grill at 15 E. Agate Ave. in Granby. Our next meeting will be Nov. 8. Meet with us to ask questions and obtain more information. For those of us who did not serve, this is an excellent way to show our civic pride.
